Test for German Invasion Section: Chute will drop onto type objects. 

Chute Lines

Line in place. These line are a bit rubbery, but interact properly. 4 sets of 8 lines will connect to the D rings on the harness. This model will be very easy to 'pose', should further animation be required.

Just a test for the basic form.

Quick test to show the the various forces at work on the silk in flight. A total cheat, but the combination of large shifts in volume, with small internal ripples look pretty convincing.  

Chute Silk Test renders

Strong sun behind chute. Note how the tapes block out the light.

The light permeates the silk nicely, giving it a nice sense of volume, without resorting to the placement of fake light underneath the canopy.

Also note the animated clouds, which I've been working on, too.

Morphing between the two forms. I will use this early on.
